The plastic backing gets scratched easily but they are very minor scratches and scuffs

It discolours but once more at least if you take care of your iphone how it was naked as well as the scratch issue it wont bother you

In comparison with griffin reveal case for example its harder on hands but because its tight its not prone to get dust between the phone and the clear back as the reveal which has got a larger opening around the camera

Ive purchased the white version thus if you concern about discolouring you may also consider purchasing the black version i dont think you will have this problem with that
