Pros

This is fine for laid back cruising around and highly recommend for that purpose only. Bell is a great and reputable brand.

The style and colors of this helmet match exactly my motorcycle. It is fist perfect and look great! Will probably add a bubble face shield. I feel a little smarter for wearing a proper helmet.

This one is a little snug, but will loosen up with age. Go by the size chart, sizing is spot on.

Bell custom 500 helmet is xl size, i normally wear a 7 5/8 hat size. Fits my oval head perfectly. Generous in size for ear buds and com systems.

Cons

Helmet is a low profile one and i have an oblong head and it fits quite shallow2. It barely wraps my head around. Did not fit when going by the chart provided by the manufacture.

The return policy is worthless as you’ll pay a restocking fee.

However shipped carelessly in it's manufacturer box and not with a protective shipping box as i have received other helmets in the past.

Competitiveness

Probably from use on my two kawasaki klr 650's and a yamaha xt250, it outlasted four or five motorcycles.

Overall bell is a reliable company and hard to beat at the price point.
