Pros & Cons
Pros
The mx-9 adventure carries on that bell reputation - this is one great helmet. Long visor helps shield my eyes from the sun in early morning rides or just coming home from work in the evening. Dot and ece plus mips is excellent to have! The only thing... Read More
Went from an arai xxl and found this guy. Fits my dome well; ~23. The helmet is a little tight around my cheeks, but should be better after broken in or i lose 5 pounds.
The only trade-off for all this protection and comfort is a little bit of extra weight. It's not bothersome, just noticeable after a day off-road. It is very comfy, feels sturdy, and has great ventilation even in 100-degree weather. Bit of a warmer he... Read More
The kid has a helmet just like his dads now. He has a good helmet, this is better. Tried and true helmet.
Cons
Some bits are poorly glued on and the chinstrap is fairly frayed. Image shows visor and open/close front vent (the adventure model) received the normal model with open only vents and no visor.
Highlights
Quality
The helmet shell is great, well finished.
Perfect fit, very comfortable, nice looking and quality made.
Airflow seems okay but the side vents on the actual sides of the helmet are fake and don't do anything.
Adjusted the visor all the way forward and that stopped a good majority of wind grab on the road.
Price
It’s definitely the best for the price!
I like this helmet for dual sport use, especially at this price point.
Otherwise it seems like a great value
Priced well for the level of quality.
Shipping
This does come with the clear visor, it does not ship with both visors as others have stated.
Competitiveness
It is as good as my $800 mx helmets but with a useful windscreen.
The cheek pads are definitely tight, i ordered the smaller size from bell direct and those are much better, i’m glad they offered them.

I like almost everything about this helmet except that it doesnt work with glasses and you cant make it work with glasses unless youre willing to extensively modify the cheek pads

It’s a bit snug at first but breaks in

Edit wanted to update my comments on the fog

The visor fogged up quite a bit and didn’t clear up when i started cruising so i had to crack it open and drive it around for a while this time

Eventually once the visor cooled down a bit and got closer to the temp outside it got better but there was still some fogging

I ended up ordering the pinlock visor they offer for this helmet and hopefully that fixes it for me
