Pros & Cons
Pros
This helmet is exceptionally well made. It isn't the lightest, but it isn't a brick. Will definitely go for another bell 3x as time rolls on!
The only trade-off for all this protection and comfort is a little bit of extra weight. It's not bothersome, just noticeable after a day off-road. It is very comfy, feels sturdy, and has great ventilation. Bit of a warmer helmet fyi.
Glasses don't have a problem with fogging up in this helmet. Long visor helps shield eyes from the sun. Wind catches it at higher speeds.
Love my mx9. Got this for a 2 week off road moto expedition ride through colombia south america. Dot and ece plus mips is excellent to have! Best adventure helmet available for this price range.
Cons
Some bits are poorly glued on and the chinstrap is fairly frayed. Image shows visor and open/close front vent (the adventure model) received the normal model with open only vents and no visor.

I don’t know if a chin curtain would help but it would be nice if the mx9 adv had that option and also a flip down tinted sun visor
