Easy to clean with a wet paper towel or rag. Very easy to clean, especially if you wipe it off with a dry paper towel when it's hot.

Cons

The only way to clamp the top part to the bottom part is to use a clamp i bought from the hardware store. They're not teflon, but rather some horrible smell iron texturized material that will never clean right. Very flimsy latch.
