Pros

I'm a paramedic on a service that uses tibial io as our primary vascular access on pretty much any pulseless non-breather. A must for first res-ponders. First, it got delivered a week before expected. Some dept.

Purchased this for having a window punch, seatbelt cutter and emergency weapon. The included sheath rides well on a uniform belt, and the hook is out of the way until needed, but very fast to deploy. Comes with quality black sheath.

Holy moly this thing is sharp. It slices through everything like a hot knife through butter. No other strap cutter even comes close to the sharpness and ease of use of the benchmade 7.

The size works perfectly for edc since it's compact design makes it smaller than rescue shears. I work in a jail and have used this multiple times to cut down inmates trying to hang themselves. They are sharp enough to cut off a bed sheet tied around ... Read More

Price

I was in the market for a rescue hook for a while and didn't buy it because of the money.

At ~30 bucks a pop, they suck to lose, especially when trauma shears are dirt cheap.

For what it costs i'd give six stars if i could.

Faster than ems shears - but certainly more expensive.
