Pros

It's easier to rotate a cylinder than a square. Works great on my benchmade knives. Helps keep them in great shape and properly lubricated. Has all the tools you need to maintain your knife without voiding the warranty.

These bits are perfect for a plethora of jobs. The extension is magnetic, and you get a pair of t-6, t-8, and t-10's. The magnet in the chuck works well too.

Cons

They're fine for tightening or loosening a pivot, but you can forget completely disassembling a knife. The t6 bits don't even look like a torx head, they are so uneven and poorly made its just a little blob which strip out and ruins your screws. These... Read More

So i ordered the benchmade 981084f blue box maintenance kit.

Competitiveness

If you own a benchmade knife, you need to get one of these tool sets.

As described and i wouldn't own a benchmade without a kit to fix it if anything happened.

So i currently have a benchmade mini grip that is taken apart except for one screw, neither tool is strong enough to get it out.

If you attempt to repair, or take apart your benchmade knife it voids the lifetime warranty and they will not repair it.
