This is the 2nd benchmade i've owned. Just got the bugout and mini bugout in the last week. It is in my edc rotation and i'm sure it will be for a long time. I hope benchmade keeps improving with the qc stuff.

Cons

The s30v (vanadium alloy) blade is sharp and does hold an edge, but that's it. The osborn is a good one but this knife is so cheaply made i’d consider something different. I really dislike the flimsy feel of this knife.

After 3 days after getting it it has a horrible grinding/crunching sound when it is closing. It leans far enough to the right that the blade rubs against the scale. Third is the coating on the axis lock which seems to not be done well.

Since i have had it the blade is really impressive for the price.

Yes it is over $100 and has a plastic handle but it is perfectly assembled and build quality is excellent for this price.

For $130 i was expecting full stainless steel tangs along the grivory handles and that is not what i got.

This knife fluctuates in price dramatically over time.
