Pros

The grip is awesome it locks in your hand even when wet. The clip has good retention without being too tight. I have a griptilion mini that catches nearly all of the day to day and utility work.

Almost perfect. It's aesthetically pleasing, well built, and perfect for what i use it for. Made to be grabbed and deployed quickly. I was just in awe of it.

Get a knife or gun oil to keep on the edge of the blade to prevent rust. The cpm m4 cutting steel used is fantastic for keeping an edge. Cleans off well has a good coating around the steel.

The blade shape, steel, and sharpness are first rate. In particular the reverse tanto blade and ambidextrous axis feature are outstanding. Great easy-flip action. Solid, buttery smooth action.

Cons

Yes, you get what you pay for but in this case you're getting at least a $200 product.

Price

Only complaint besides the exorbitant price is that there is no lanyard attachment point.

Great knife, but i have yet to find if it is truly worth the premium price.

I used my barbershop strop to remove the very fine wire edge, and now, it's perfect!

I read a lot of reviews before i ordered the benchmade contego.

Competitiveness

It is a benchmade knife made with the strongest metal you will ever see in your life.

I am a fan of benchmade knifes i do have other brands of knifes and i always fall back to carry benchmade.

I own and use a lot of benchmade knives, and this is the poorest fit and finish i have gotten.

This does not affect the performance but i expect more from benchmade, especially at this price.
