Cpm-20cv steel, smooooth axis system that makes for very easily controlled and safe opening and closing.
Cannot beat this knife, even the pm2&3 don't come close, especially with heat treatment and ergos.
Karahawk (best for strictly self defense imho)6.
Price
940-2 (i don't like aluminum and the carbon fiber is really nice but too expensive.

Then i got the 940 and after carrying for a while the 940 replaced the grip which replaced the pm2
