The axis lock takes at most a day of fiddling with it to break in its a bit stiff when i got it fresh out of the boxpouch but other than that you get what you pay for

The lock has a quality feel and the is no slop its completely locked when open

It keeps its edge quite nicely the blade stays solid and never acquires that wobble that chinese knives often get where you have to constantly tamper with the allen screws to remedy it
