Pros & Cons
Pros
Great knife with a clean and classy look. I'm a fan of assisted opening knives so my other benchmades and sogs are great, but this knife is classic. Great for skinning game and other camp chores.
The axis locking mechanism is so smooth. Both thumb studs are a plus but i rather use the axis locking mechanism.
Well made, easy to flip open and very sharp. It's beautifully made.

The dymondwood is as tough as nails steel! The wooden handle is smooth and not soft. The diamond wood scales are fantastic and look and feel great.
Highlights
Quality
Feels very sturdy there's no blade play build quality is excellent
These are the best knives made, i have quite a few and not one has ever disappointed.
Bottom line this knife is a work of art that can get done a dirty working through any job thrown at it
The blade is extremely sharp with high retention.

I have large hands and the slightly wider profile just felt right in my palm, even better than the crooked river.
I’ve carried every brand from cold steel to spyderco, to kershaw and becker.
For one, the blade shape offers more belly than the ares; i consider that a very handy blade design sadly absent from most pocket knives.
