The chris reeves knife is awesome. The wood inlay gives the knife an organic look and feel.

The mini crooked is a perfect size. The deployment is smooth, but not as easy or as flawless as the north fork. The action out of the box is downright silky.

The mcr flips and closes smoothly/easily. The blade opens very smoothly with use of the thumb stud or even a quick snap of the wrist. It's so good-looking and smooth, i can't stop opening and closing the blade.

I worry a little when buying knives on amazon, but this one was the real deal.

A $200 dollar knife should not have this issue.

I limit on knife purchases is around the $125 high end, hence the desire for one but not willing to shuck out the money.

I quickly received a reply which stated they would mail me the clip free of charge.

I received my mini crooked river in the mail just a few hours ago (5/14/19) and noticed a small hairline crack on the front side grip.

I sent it to the company and in 2 weeks it was back and sharp.

I got mine from benchmade amazon storefront - i confirmed with benchmade before purchasing.

There were two stickers to keep the box from opening, both had been cut.

But, mine came in a sealed box.

Competitiveness

I now have 2 others from benchmade and they are great too.

It easily replaces most of my older edcs, which add up to over $300.

The crooked river was and is better than the rest of the benchmade lineup, yes even the 940.
