It slices like a razer, and the short width of the blade gives it extreme mobility while slicing. It’s light, smooth and doesn’t smudge with handprints.

To summarize, it is excellent. The brand has yet to disappoint. Benchmade only makes the highest quality and workmanship.

This knife goes nicely with business or casual. It is the perfect non tactical edc knife. The issues with the knife are somewhat minor, but given that the looks of this blade is one of the strong points, i would have expected a little better.

Small, lightweight design allows for carry even in dress slacks. Perfect size that balances useful and comfortable size. Good deep carry pocket clip is just the cherry on top.

Cons

I almost got killed from the safety. Fingers need to be in perfect position, which is not comfortable or natural. Cut myself the first time.

For a knife of this price (now listed at ~$170), this is unacceptable, and severely detracted from my enjoyment of this product.

I largely use it to open boxes and the rough finish collects all the tape glue.

Blade has a tiny bit of wiggle out of the box.

Competitiveness

I've carried a benchmade mini-barrage 585 daily for over five years, and really enjoyed it all around.

This is the first benchmade product that i've purchased and i'm very happy with it.

Didn't come as sharp as my benchmade triage.
