Pros

The mini gryptilian knife is very well made. The warranty has lifetime service including re-sharpening. I use it daily and it’s so much better than using a kitchen knife on my cardboard packages!

The action is incredibly smooth out of the box. Snappy open/close with smooth action.

The sv30 steel takes and holds a good edge. The serrated blade is ideal for cutting through tough things. Takes a bit longer to sharpen, but benchmade offers free lifetime sharpening.

The locking system on these is the best that i have found. The blade is easily opened with the dual-sided stud. The release always works smoothly and easily.

Cons

Plastic is hard and annoying. Liner was warped. Blade grinds are uneven. Same issue with subcompact handguns.

The mini griptilian is far too small for my taste. First, cheers for amazon’s return policy. Sent back for refund 5 minutes after opening.

I purchased this knife because i was intrigued by the quality of the knife.

Price was good for an in-stock quality knife.

The price is a tad higher than i wanted to spend for a knife, but you pay for quality!

I’ve always heard that the mini griptilian was a good entry into expensive knives.

I have carried a benchmade mini-grip for over 10 years.

Look no further than benchmade, they stand behind their product like an american manufacturer should!

These are not cheap products but you get what you pay for…

(all knife collectors should at least own one benchmade knife, in my opinion.
