The handle is classified as polymer which is a fancy word for reconstructed plastic

Nevertheless it just feels like plastic obviously and you can see the two injection molding runners at the base of the handle some have misdiagnosed this as damage from the factory

Once the paint is completely gone itll look fine unpainted but in the meantime itll look a little unsightly

Right away i found the full knife size uncomfortable the handles feel too rough on my hands but you can get a hell of a grip for any kind of hard work

The blade comes very sharp and mine had minimal blade play although he axis lock took some breaking in
