Pros

This pad provides the necessary protection so the table doesn't inadvertently become scuffed or scratched. Not bulky so not noticeable under a tablecloth. My only issue with this tablecloth underpad is that i couldn't iron-out its creases entirely.

It is not too thick just thin enough to allow china and stemware to sit nicely. I much prefer it to the newer style of thick pvc foam pads, which are too rigid and which stain too easily.

It drapes nicely just a few inches over each edge. Let it drape over the edges to protect the edges from the chairs.

Felt-side down, with table cloth on top - worked great. Placed it on my table and covered it with my lenox tablecloth.

Cons

The product is advertised as being 108 long. But, the vinyl is so wrinkly that it doesn't lay flat. It's really no different than a flannel backed table cloth - just a little heavier. The only free return option is to drop it at kohl's.

Packaging/appearance

Even though i gave this product a 5 star it, however, had deep packing wrinkles that were a pain-in-the -butt to get out.

Come with deep fold marks due to nature of packaging; easily removed with 10 minutes in the dryer to relax the material.
