    I just got an iphone 13 pro max and i got this case at about the same time

    There isnt much of a lip on the screen side after i installed my glass screen protector but hopefully it will be enough of one to save my phone should i drop it

    I tried doing as one reviewer suggested and removed the metal piece surrounding the cutout which does allow the protector to fit but it became obvious why that metal was there it allows the lens to be recessed for protection

    The lens actually sticks out from the case if you do this and it felt even less protected than when it didnt have a protector on it

    So i have debated whether to keep this case or not and i have decided to glue the metal piece back and hope for the best
