Pros & Cons
Pros
Both the container and the lid are easy to clean (just make sure to take the lid apart for cleaning, it's easy). Scrupulously clean (clean.
The prepara evak container has a vacuum tight seal. The noise the lid makes when pushing the air out is giggle worthy. It looks great on the counter next to the coffee maker.
This container fits closely on top of the beans reducing the ullage space to zero. I use this size to store cat * and open the container for the cat to sniff and snack. Works great and keeps beans fresh much longer.
Cons
The lid is too small so that the rubber around the lid doesn't seal properly. Looks like it was held together by glue. That's a poor design as the top is meant to be pulled so glue is being loosen overtime.
The evac logo is a printed sticker, unlike the etched logo on my original product. Appears other buyers had the same issue with this seller in the reviews.
Glass is thinner than i thought and fragile. Don't be fooled by the relatively thick glass. It's not strong enough to withstand the daily use of the air pressure.

Competitiveness
So i needed something that would keep it fresh for a long time, as most of my clients use kcups.
I use this for my pet sitting jobs, where i need to use fresh coffee instead of kcups.
