Since the rails for the slats are not in the center of the sideboards the effect is to have a higherlower support by a couple of inches

It also causes the metal nuts to stick out into the mattressbox spring area which seems counter to what is desired

It didnt hurt anything so i still gave the bed 5 stars but dont think this is actually a feature of any kind

When i first got the frame they sent me the wrong size slats but after emailing them they sent in the right parts including a thum nut that was defective
