Pros

They work fine; they even seem to allow better air-flow than the pleated type. Only a couple of bucks less then buying in the brick and mortar. Easy to both install and uninstall.

Cons

Emerson wicks are about 2. The odor of melting insulation was my first clue.

These filters work humidifying for about 2 days, then they stop wicking water. Did not fit in my humidifier despite the model being listed on the box and the internet listing.

Packaging/appearance

Package was half crushed on arrival,i think i can salvage the one filter that was crushed.

One box of filters came damaged, the other was ok .

Competitiveness

This product is much better quality, better packaged, and better priced than its ap competitors.

They seem to be better quality for a better price than i can get at sears, delivered right to my door.

These lasted longer than the kenmore's did and i wasn't left with a mildewed and horrific glob at the end of the season.

Plus give me better option than going to sears.
