Kind of weird that it only charges iphones on one side but we all use android so an occasional passanger with an iphone can still charger their phone

The smartphone is used to monitor current traffic and weather conditions among other things and via bluetooth feed that info to the garmin so that there is a constant power drain on the phone

Some vehicle lighter sockets are hot all the time and some are hot only when the ignition is on
