Pros & Cons
Pros
The unit has a standard 'cigar lighter' socket and 2 usb sockets, in addition to the standard 3 pin 240v socket. This is a great little inverter which i bought to power a cpap machine and charge mobile phones and cameras via usb whilst camping. Only c... Read More
Cons
Macbook and ipad go haywire - the ipad opens apps at random, the macbook mouse becomes erratic. Returned for a refund which was given no questions asked.
Highlights
Quality
I generally use for my electric shaver and laptop and with the two usb sockets works very well.
Works well i use it to power a tv in my caravan when off grid perfect forthe job and good price and quality
That said all inverters i've ever used have the same issue with the fan noise.
But dont expect 300watt output as it will kill your battery power and possibly the inverter itself even with the engine running.
Price
Amazon price was the best i could find and although i asked for 1st class 3 day post it arrived the next day!
Competitiveness
I've used it for charging laptops, running a printer and a dimmable led light.
My one quibble is that it does not have reverse polarity protection, should you chose to run it off crocodile clips (required t... Read More

Guysas others have said this will ‘not’ output 300 watts via the cigarette12v outlet
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Most 12v outlets are rated at approximately 10 amps so you will get roughy 104 watts

I plugged my charger from my bluetti into the inverter and it continuously blew fuses in the vehicle the charger pulls around 264 watts

I changed the fuse to a 25 amp one in the vehicle this is not recommended it’s too high for the vehicle wiring as an experiment whilst i watched it did pull 264 watts but after 20 mins the 12 volt plug on the inverter completely melted and the plug and cables were so hot you couldn’t touch them

This is my second bestek 300w psw inverter my first one died on me just under 18 months a go literally after a few hours of use without warning the dreaded burning smell and magic electrical smoke thankfully i was on hand to chuck it out of the window to cool off before disposing of it

I had no idea why my first inverter fried but it was scary and thankfully i was on hand probably preventing a severe electrical fire

My only two major issues with this inverter are the fact that you would have to snip off the cig plug to wire up something like andersone powerpoles to use the full 300w capability i should mention this generic cig plug isnt fused and uses an extremely thick spring so doesnt warm up much when pulling over 150w via my cig socket cable
