This inverter upon initial use is fantastic. Very well boxed and packaged, the casing is professional. Only gripe at 24 hours of use is that the ac outlets are two close together and you cannot get two plugs in securely of the modern type.
Bestek 1kw psw inverter costs £41. Shows 230v dc input voltage and lcd readout shows battery voltage and wattage of attached equipment. Tests with 1000 watt kettle, boiled like mains, perfect for standby power from 12 volts.

Dislikesi would have liked a separate lead which could be plugged into the car accessory socket in the boot for running lower power items up to 120w so i didnt have to extend the crock clips to connect it to the battery under the bonnet

Many of the claims made by the writeup for this inverter to charge batteries and running a laptop i have done with a cheapo car inverter with a 12v cigarette plug and socket wired up to batteries

The reason being is that i have a homemade device to clean up electrical noise which improves sound batteries are cleaner still and you get greater clarity at the expense of the magical musicality and it sounds lifeless
