This adapter worked fine but after reading the review from the google engineer explaining that this item does not meet the usbc specs i will not continue to use it because i do not want to risk damage to my phone nexus 5x

Unfortunately the charge rate is half what it should be

It turns out that my asus zentab does not always take full speed charge even from its own charger and cable so i do not believe the problem is with this adapter
