It’s covered in little plastic dots that melt when they come in contact with the wand!
The glove it came with has pink rubber “dots” which melted at contact with the barrel, getting all in my hair and smelt very bad!

Great product for good price gets hot fast and easy to use.

I had to turn the wand off and let it cool so i could scrape the melted plastic off the barrel

The box was mangled on delivery so i was worried but it works fine

It was a nightmare to clean and i immediately threw out the glove as it is not heat resistant
