Pros

Perfect for docking and mooring, these lines offer enhanced convenience and peace of mind while on the water. They're quick to deploy and easy enough to use, even for the most inexperienced boater. They hold the kayak steady while parking the car and ...  Read More

The 3 inch stainless steel clip is really strong and sturdy, which we use to clip onto the back metal ring behind jetski seats. The blue ones you get the two hoop ends and with the black you get a hoop end on one and a clip on the other. The eyelet en...  Read More

The 2 pk dock bungee lines are a superb addition to any boating setup. The bungee lines are well made, durable, have a nice amount of give. These boat dock lines have a tensile strength of 2200 lbs and will stretch out to 5.

They are strong with a tensile strength of 2200 pounds. They are very strong and somewhat stretchy.

Since our boat weighs about 700 lbs. The bungee also allows for swells when the boat and dock are at different heights, less stress on the boat cleats.

Cons

I like the idea of a springy dock line, but this one falls short. The main rope is made out of a very cheap polypropylene. That material weakens in sunlight pretty quickly.

The price point is nice and won't break the bank, or make you cry if it breaks.

These should last a long time and are an average value for $20 on amazon.

Competitiveness

Finally, i've found that the outer layer of bungees seem to fray quickly with wooden docks, and the outer layer of these bungee...  Read More

They feature floats to keep the lines from dipping down into the water and creating a potential hazard for propeller intake or other snags below the surface

I tried these bungeestyle dock ropes to tie up my 24 monterey boat to a dock at a restaurant

They worked but with rough water i do not want my boat to move at all

Or you can thread one end threw the loop around a pole but then have way less rope but good for a quick temporary tieup
