Pros & Cons
Pros
Love this cookbook. I swear my old version has the best brownie recipe in the universe but it is different in this newer version.
The pages are slightly thin, but not too thin. This is important, because you can't fold back comb bound books completely. The book has pictures, diagrams and substitutions.
It explains everything in loving detail. Won’t regret. Also saved a ton of money.
Cons
My gripe is the order of the sections. The pages are too flimsy for a binder type of cookbook. For me, the cookbook is almost unusable.
Highlights
Quality
Very pleased with the purchase, which arrived in great shape.
This has wonderful recipes and pictures…just wish they would have used quality paper.
Price
The binding is cheap and the pages are very thin, but the price is right.
Shipping
Works well for both those recipes that are for special events and when you have get a meal on the table fast.
Packaging/appearance
I was disappointed that one of the covers had been folddd during packaging leaving it with a wrinkle.
Competitiveness
It has been our family's standard go-to cookbook for over seventy years.
In some ways even better than my beloved 1st edition.

The pages are so thin that they will easily rip even with just very mild usage so hard cover with three rings is really the better way to go
