My partner has fond memories of the rainbow cake of his youth and was disappointed that it was replaced by funfetti which he says doesnt taste the same at all

The frosting is a very sweet white buttercream filled with colored white chocolate chips or at least i think its white chocolate

Which was a problem the contents of one frosting can are not enough to cover an entire 2layer cake probably why you get three cans of frosting for only two packages of cake mix

I decided to bake up the second box as well to make a 4layer cake and ran out of frosting

Two cans were simply not enough to cover the whole cakei bitterly regretting giving up the third canand so it came out with rather thin and transparent icing
