Pros

Great recipes. Lots of jello molds! Sweet milk pancake variation and the gingerbread men.

Betty crocker's revised 1950's cookbook is worth buying. It is a lovely cookbook, but my mom specifically wanted the bound, hardcover, book version. I wish all cookbooks formatted their recipes the way they are in this cookbook.

Cons

Although many recipes are outdated, the cake recipes are very dry. Its a misrepresentation of the original cookbook.

The metal ring binder is broken and detached. The pages are very thin and some were stuck together. The first page ripped from the binder upon opening.

Overall this cook book has a very congested visual to it. Ugly black and white pictures and the print is hard to read.
