The handle is of great quality and has a great weight to it that makes it a bit easier for me at least to control while shaving!
I shave my head in the shower and had no issues with the handle being slick, the razor also has a good weight to it.
The sides of the razor head are slick and angled, the blade does not stick out.
The 2 stars were for the design, functionality and weight alone.
Price
I think the razor is a tremendous value, and i am sure there are many men who love this razor, just for me, it was too aggressive.
The only thing that held me back was the price obviously, but i figured hey, if it’s this much (~$50) then it has to be good.
I found that i get a perfectly smooth shave at the fraction of the cost of the gillette blade i was using before.

Right when i opened the box, i was impressed with the look and the weight.

I dont know how it can manage to be so different from all the others but i didnt get nicks like i did several other brands merkur leaf hanni

However the handle is quite short and extremely slick so it just wasnt feasible for comfortable shower shaving

Update i didnt want to give up on this razor as i hate letting money go down the drain so i figured i would try something different i ended up buying a different handle that was smaller and the results have been a lot better
