    I previously had a grip for a t2i that felt cheap but this one does not

    I noticed that even while fully tightened down pulling on the trigger side of the grip away from the camera sometimes disconnects its contacts

    One strange thing i found is the battery release turns the camera off but having the gate physically open does not
