Pros
These are basically the same as the past square or round ones--slightly less cumbersome. My setup is a dell gaming laptop running linux and i usually connect to a 1280x1024 dvi (with hdmi adapter) monitor. It works well.
Cons
It’s really unprofessional when they send a defective item without checking its functionality. The item is defective and worthless to use.
