If you like a glass french press so you can see how much coffee is in the carafe and are tired of how easy it is to break the thin glass in a bodum press where the replacement glass often costs as much or more as the full press

The description of this press is deceptive here and on the packaging with the claim of 8 cups and a 1 liter capacity

It is more accurately a 7 cup press liquid below the highest level the press screen can attain without getting grounds in the spout

And certainly dont want hot liquid that is otherwise only in contact with glass and stainless steel pouring through plastic slits

Maybe that means something else in italy where the press was designed before manufacture in china
