Pros & Cons
Pros
The kitty espresso coffee maker has a nice insulated metal handle attached, along with a metal lid hinge that should prevent that problem. Mine has a dull sandblasted sort of finish and has never shown any sign of rust or corrosion. The stainless stee... Read More
Capresso 565 is great for moka pots. Great flavor. Works in regular stovetop moka too.
Cons
Teflon-like coating on the inside of the water tank (lower part) keeps leaking the hot air and water from below. After using it just one time, the entire bottom portion is discolored and does not even look like stainless steel anymore.
Buy a different one for sure. This listing is very deceitful. Such a disappointment. With such reputation to guard, bialetti should invest in correcting this.

Shipping
You have to add hot water into the vessel before brewing!
Packaging/appearance
We had the bialetti working as it left the packaging!
Competitiveness
The valve adds pressure, compared to the classic bialetti stove-top espresso maker, and this makes the coffee stronger.
I no longer use our cuisenart coffee maker.
Also, since this is my first time using a mokka pot, the 6-cup pot doesn't brew enough for me to enjoy two cups of american style coffees.
Fortunately we finally landed on bialetti milano.
