I tried it on illy today (after two 'introductory runs': when the machine is new you need to do at least two runs to be thrown away, with little coffee powder, about half the normal quantity, to let the rubber and aluminium parts get impregnated with the coffee aromas and get rid of the 'new' smell) and it was far better than my old machine (which was not bialetti but a subbrand i was unhappy with), as the coffee taste was at the same time cleaner and richer.  Read Less
