Highlights
Quality
This little guy makes the most amazing stovetop espresso.
I added a picture, mine isn’t dirty, it’s just tarnished from many years of use.
I will say it makes very good moka pot coffee, just don’t expect as much crema as an espresso from a good machine under pressure.
The crema is closer to foam and does not last long.
Price
I love coffee, have paid a ton for some and paid almost nothing for some.
After spending 300 to 600 bucks on espresso makers that only last about two years.
This little guy does do very very well though, i don’t miss my huge costly monstrosity.
Competitiveness
I agree, it is not quite as deep as espresso from a 600 dollar machine, but a 600 machine isn’t as good as a 5,000 dollar machine either.
