Pros

Received as advertised. This coffee maker is perfectly adequate to the task. The quality of the build is excellent. The coffee i outstanding.

This press is gorgeous on my table, allows me to brew a fresh batch of coffee to share with my husband and fills the house with a fresh coffee scent. The 8-cup press makes 3 big cups/mugs of coffee.

It has a plastic handle that attaches to a steel cover with a design. It is solidly constructed and has a durable filter. Its holds its heat very well & the press is so much smoother- with no grounds slipping through.

Cons

The glass seems quite thin and feels fragile (after all it came cracked) the cutout in the metal is not polished and has rough edges. The cover looks to be metal but it is plastic not stainless steel. The filter is not removable?

Wouldn’t have bought this if i’d known it wasn’t made in italy!

(a problem i frequently had w bodum) it’s worth the money for something that actually lasts.
