This aluminum pan is much lighter than the calphalon steel ceramic non-stick pan that i have. It heats evenly and quickly, so a lower heat setting is needed.

The non-stick properties of ceramic are just as good as teflon but without the worry of chemicals leaching into food or the finish wearing off. The instructions say to use plastic or silicon cooking utensils (never metal or it could scratch) put somet... Read More

Cons

Already replaced one pot because of deep scratch in ceramic material. This ceramic material feels so cheap and is easily scratched by the lid. Years later, my ceramic coating is scratched on all pots and pans.

Non stick coating is superior to the copper colored pans they are replacing.
