Pros

The pan has a thicker bottom, which is a great feature. When cooking on lower heat it limits the amount of grease spatter off the pan. It cooks well, cleans easily, and is very durable.

These are the absolute best you can buy. They are tough, heat evenly, and clean up exceptionally well. And it cleans easily. Also another plus is that they don't look or feel cheap and are sturdy.

It's the only pan i'll own, reasonably priced and bang for my buck is a a+. I have the 8 & 10 skillets too, but the griddle is my favorite. This griddle works beautifully for oil-free pancakes.

Sorry it is being discontinued. Will update in another year. It still fits ok though. It more stays still.

Cons

First order was distorted and out of shape. Replacement was just as bad, if not worse. Neither of the lids fit, and the 8inch is practically unusable. Requesting a refund.

It did not come with the flat griddle as advertised.

Shipping

It came very well packed in the original box from the factory as well as the shipping box from amazon.

The only downside is the lids do not usually fit, the lots are bent in shipping or something!

Competitiveness

I bought a bialetti pan at a grocery store and was amazed how nice it was.

I bought a bialetti pan at bed bath and beyond a couple years ago and i loved it, so i now purchased the whole set from amazon.

We will surely be exchanging most of our stainless steel pieces for bialetti products.

Aside: yes, i looked at bialetti based on the recommendation in one of stanley tucci's cookbooks.
