My first bialetti was everthing i was expecting.
Competitiveness
As with all bialetti products, excellent value, good piece of kit.
The bialetti costs more than some other moka-style coffee makers, but it is the original and still the best.
In hindsight, a 4-6 cup would've been a more sensible choice
That soon went back and i got a krups grinder and an aeropress.

The columnar design also leaves behind most of the unpleasant sediment if you use the correct grind size

The water tank in the machine always smelled stale even though i regularly ran hot water through it without coffee and left the lid open to air dry

My 12cup andorra copy of the bialetti served me well for many years but its coffee holder was prone to getting bent and the handle eventually broke
