Egg Cooking Time
Customers have mixed opinions on the cooking time for eggs in the Bialetti Non-Stick Egg Poacher. Some report perfect results with adjustments to heat and cooking time, while others mention difficulties with sticking or the poacher floating during use.
Highlights
Quality
Best poacher i've used and i have tried many including the sets that come with a pot and various silicone devices.
I like my eggs runny and between 8 and 10 minutes on medium heat, they are perfect.
Tried "hot" (preheat in simmering water for 2 minutes, add eggs, cover) with no coating and very light cooking oil, eggs stuck.
Hand wash only, dishwasher detergent will micro-scratch the surface.
Price
I found this exact item at bed bath and beyond for $7.

It is true the egg does not fit the size of a standard english muffin i believe that’s because it would be hard to poach or have a runny center if it was any larger

However for those that like their egg yolks well done for sausage biscuits i recommend squishing the egg between the sausage and muffin
