Only downside is the round base is difficult to get a grip on to inscrew so would go with the traditional hexagonal one if buying again.

If you have big hands watch you don't catch them on the heat of the vessel as you pour!

Still good value for money vs other bialetti conductive mokas i've seen online in my due diligence.
Makes a wonderful brew of 600ml highly aromatic coffee.

Excellent coffee pot until filter and gasket changed just to freshen things up after daily usenow despite very careful fitting of gasket and filter the pot will not percolate it just bubbles in the upper chamber and leaks coffee in to lower water chamber

Must also mention the price of my 6 cup venus £24 on amazon most other retailers are quoting around the £38£40 mark

Functional however the plastic handle feels flimsy im sure it will snap off at some point
