The matress takes up about half the floorspace and in my old tent which was as tall but much more slope to the walls there was no utilizing the center height of the tent

The rain fly seems to cover the screen mesh well enough i suppose if it was raining sideways you would probably get a little bit of water through the front under the awning but it would have to be raining sideways

It was a windy day when i first set it up and it was actually quite easy even in the wind simply stake out the four corners first and then slip the two aluminum holes through the sleeves and hook them in the grommets on each corner

There are just too long poles and a shot pole for the front canopy
