I am not sure if this affects the r-value of the sleeping pad, but i found that it was noticeably effective in cold temperatures.

The pad packs away very nicely in its pouch and does not need to be "folded in the perfect way" to fit back in its pouch.

It has both two way valve and a one way valve

The one way valve makes it so you can blow up the thing all the way without needing an airpump

I found that the sleeping pad was very easy to fill with the provided fill bag only took a few breaths and wasnt as light headed as i would have been had i blown it up

However i would recommend using a rechargeable air pump if you can spare the change there are a few cheap ones on amazon that also have additional features such as lights
