Pros
Long strapping is ideal for latching to a to a metal backpack frame. Compresses my synthetic nemo bag to half the size. They are great. They compress things that are the shape of sleeping bags in stuff sacks.

Got this to fit around a 40l waterproof rolltop dry bag for my bulky 3season sleeping bag but the support framing at opposing ends of the girdle itself conflicts with the opening of that bag so i have been unable to use it for its intended purpose

A smaller sleeping bag in a stuff sack one that is waterresistant not necessarily airtight would work perfectly as the air would crush out easily
