Used them a few times now and they are very accurate and well built

These instruments are high quality prescision tools.

The blades are stainless steel the spring at the top and the adjusting screw mechanism are carbon steel.

I could have cleaned them off prior to use and didn't, still haven't and use almost daily.

If you have need or like having a an inexpensive set of calipers, these are worth the price.

Ordered this because it had everything i needed and the price was excellent.

These items will do just as well at a fraction of the cost.

These are cheap but accomplish their mission.

I'm not crazy about the oil on them, but understand that is the only way to keep them from corroding during shipment and storage.

It did offer excellent protection during shipping however.

They worked as intended nice and greased up for rust protection and packaged nicely and great product for the price.

No need to buy really high priced precision products from outfits like starrett.

You can use these to get the size of the round part and then compare that to a scale, measuring tape or some other device.
