The mattress is much too soft for newborns. Does not meet health canada guidelines for newborn sleep equipment. It will even out the creases eventually but they are really bad.

It still passes (in my eyes) for safety as it is firm and still quite thin.

This is the only way my baby will sleep in the fisher price soothing motions bassinet.
