The switch is metal-clad, robust, and very well-constructed with external plug-incorporated psu. The metal chassis is heavy so obviously helps with passive cooling. There's a nice reassuring led light flickering on every port that is being used.

I put the cables in the same position shouldnt make any difference really and powered up and restarted the pcs and it worked exactly the same no speed difference
