Wall Mountable
Customers are generally positive about the wall mountability feature of the switch. They appreciate its compact design and ability to save space by being able to be mounted on the wall. Some customers mentioned that it doesn't include mounting screws/anchors as a drawback, but overall they find it to be a good value for its size and functionality.
Build Quality
Customers generally praise the build quality of the Binardat 8 Port Managed Switch, describing it as solidly built with a metal casing that feels sturdy and durable. Some have noted its compact size and simplicity in operation, while others mention the unmanaged design allows for plug-and-play functionality. However, a few customers have pointed out that the switch is not customizable or controllable in terms of network settings.
Ports Splitting
Customers generally have a positive opinion on the product's ability to split ports for multiple device connections. Users have successfully used it for media centers, gaming sessions, and expanding Ethernet capabilities with Starlink. Some noted the high transfer speeds and low latency bi-directional connection. However, a few users mentioned that the switch doesn't come with ethernet cables and doesn't support PoE ports.

Size
Customers generally find the size of the Binardat 8 Port Managed Switch to be small and compact, making it easy to hide or tuck away in various spaces. However, some have noted that the power cable length is shorter than expected, causing inconvenience when reaching outlets.
Highlights
Quality
Its working perfect and i love how it is made of metal and not plastic like so much now and days.
It is very well built, and the housing is metal making it a very solid device.
Cord length however is 24 inches rather tiny like the switch itself and is cumbersome to reach outlets unless attached adjacent to a plug.
Devices connect at gigabit rate and a speedtest gets most of that out of the connection.
Price
This switch solves the problem at a low price, doesn’t take up much room and mounts out of the way.
== value for money ( = ) ==no opinion.
I'm kind of astounded at the low price.
The ac adapter alone should cost this much.
Shipping
Item received for free: from amazon, via its vine program, in exchange for an honest review.
I received the switch on time and it was appropriately packaged.
Packaging/appearance
- i didn't realize just how tiny this switch (5x 1 gbps version) is until i received it and opened the box.
In which case you will have a bit of tough time as the tightly packed ports give little space for wiggle room.
Competitiveness
This is priced very well compared to competitors, was previously looking into a similar switch from tp-link, priced around $20cad.
== comparison to other products ==a branded option might be better if you want better guidance or support.
I can guess this is meant for industry customers, but it's rather unfriendly to normal consumers.
It's a pretty standard black metal similar to other brands of ethernet switches.
